This is the full privacy notice of gpsuno.com, the GPS UNO website. Part A explains the data you give us on this site. Part B explains the data of drivers and vehicles of the companies that use GPS UNO. We serve only companies operating in Mexico. The Spanish version prevails.

A. Data you give us on this site (Mexadev is the controller)

1. Controller

Carlos Román Ruiz Basulto, an individual with business and professional activity operating under the trade name Mexadev and developing GPS UNO, with address at San Juan Bautista 4128, int. 3, Col. Bello Horizonte, ZIP 72170, Puebla, Puebla, Mexico, is responsible for the personal data we collect on gpsuno.com under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, published in the Official Gazette (DOF) on March 20, 2025.

2. Data we process

Quote form: name, WhatsApp number, how many units you operate, whether they already carry a tracker or camera, and your message (optional). With the request we keep the fact that you checked the consent box, the version of the text you accepted, the date and the page you sent it from.
If you contact us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email: your number or address and the information you provide. If you write from the site's WhatsApp button, the message already includes the page you are writing from; you can delete it before sending.
Technical data: your request arrives with the approximate country derived from your IP address, the site language and the page you sent the form from. Our infrastructure provider also logs, for security and for a short period, the IP address, browser and requested page, and the form's bot check processes the IP address and browser data.
Site visits: we measure visits to improve the site and our products. We record the pages viewed, the approximate country, the device and browser type, the page you came from and how long each page takes to load. This measurement uses no cookies or identifiers, does not tell one person from another and is never matched with the form data. The measurement service has its servers in the United States.

We do not ask for sensitive, financial or asset data.

3. What we use it for

Purposes needed to handle your request:

Contacting you on WhatsApp or by phone at the number you provided, or by email if you give us one, to send you a written quote.
Answering your questions.
Following up on your quote, demo or hardware review through those same channels.

We ask for WhatsApp because it is the channel we use to send the quote. We have no secondary purposes: no advertising, profiles, unrequested messages, mailing lists or promotions. If we ever want to send you commercial information, we will ask with a separate, optional, unchecked box, and declining will not affect how we handle your request.

Apart from your request, we use the visit measurement in item 2, which is aggregate and does not identify you, to improve the site and our products.

4. How to limit the use or disclosure of your data

Write "Ya no me contacten" (or "Stop contacting me") on WhatsApp to +52 221 841 5436 or to info@mexadev.com and we stop writing to you.

5. Who else processes it

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties. These providers process it on our behalf, as processors and only to serve us:

our infrastructure provider, located in the United States: it hosts the site, measures the visits in item 2, emails us what you type in the form and protects the form from bots, and stores the form requests and the messages we receive on WhatsApp so we can answer them;
our email provider: it receives the request that arrives at info@gpsuno.com.

If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, your messages travel through that channel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) under its own terms. We would share data with an authority only if the law requires it.

6. Your ARCO rights

You may access, rectify or cancel your data, or object to its processing. Write to info@mexadev.com with:

your name and a way to reply;
a copy of your ID (or your representative's and the document that proves it);
the right you are exercising and the data concerned;
anything that helps us find it.

Carlos Román Ruiz Basulto handles these requests. We answer within 20 business days and, if applicable, act on it within the following 15 business days. Both periods may be extended once by an equal period if the case justifies it, and we will tell you. It is free of charge.

7. How to revoke your consent

The same way and with the same requirements as in item 6. Revocation is not retroactive.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
The site stores no cookies to remember your preferences.
The visit measurement in item 2 uses no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and builds no profiles of people.
The bot check loads when the form comes into view or when you enter it, and analyzes technical browser data to tell people from bots.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working.

9. How long we keep it

What you type in the form reaches us by email at info@gpsuno.com and is stored in our customer-service database, the same one where we answer WhatsApp messages, together with the consent you gave us. Only the people at Mexadev who handle GPS UNO can see it there. If no commercial relationship follows, we delete the request, in the email and in that database, 12 months after the last contact; if the conversation continues on WhatsApp, it is kept with those messages. If you become a customer, it is kept with the contract file for as long as commercial and tax laws require. Messages we receive on WhatsApp are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact.

10. Security

We use an encrypted connection, a bot check, send limits, origin checks on every request and restricted access. Server logs do not include what you type in the form. If a breach significantly affects your rights, we will tell you right away: what happened, which data, what we did and what we recommend.

11. Minors

This site is for adults acting on behalf of a company. If you are a minor, do not send us data; if we receive it, we delete it.

12. Changes to this notice

We will publish any change at gpsuno.com/en/privacy with its update date. If the change requires your consent, we will ask for it.

13. Authority

If you believe we did not honor your rights, you may go to the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, the authority for personal data protection in Mexico.

B. Data of drivers and vehicles of companies using GPS UNO (GPS UNO is the processor)

When a company contracts GPS UNO, the company is the controller of its drivers' data: location and trips of the assigned vehicles, driving events, the image and voice the cameras record (video with audio of the cab and the road, which may show the driver's face), fatigue or distraction alerts, voice notes and in-cab messages, and the license data the company enters. GPS UNO processes it only on that company's behalf, following its instructions and the contract. It does not sell or transfer it, and does not use it for its own purposes beyond what the company authorizes: with its permission, we show real trips and clips on this site with the data that identifies the company and its drivers replaced or blurred.

The cameras record to their microSD card. What reaches the platform is stored on servers located in the United States. Retention periods:

Trips and tracker history: 3 years.
Camera event videos: up to 6 months, only when the company has set them to be uploaded to the platform.
Recordings on the camera's microSD card: as much as its capacity allows; when it fills up, the oldest is overwritten.

Neither the company nor GPS UNO can turn the cameras off from the platform.

If you are a driver at a company that uses GPS UNO, the privacy notice that applies to you is your company's; ask it for your rights. If you write to us, we pass your request on. Where the processing requires it, your company must obtain your express written consent.
